Ticket Services Will Call Staff (Part-time/Seasonal) Description: This is an hourly position paying $17 per hour. This temporary position runs from mid May through early August 2024 with the possibility to extend. Reporting to the Ticket Services Manager and the Head of Patron Services, the Part-Time Ticket Services Will Call Staff member is an important member of an evolving Ticket Services team charged with being the primary point of contact for our customers. The successful candidate will welcome A.R.T. audiences to productions while undertaking a range of ticketing transactions and data-cleaning responsibilities which enable the Ticket Services team to provide high-quality customer relations. This includes providing preshow information and assistance to audience members, timely processing of ticketing transactions, and maintenance of accurate constituent data on the theater’s Tessitura database. Duties: The Ticket Services Will Call Staff member will: Assist patrons during Will Call to re-print, claim, or purchase tickets; Help patrons in-person with their ticket needs and pre-show questions; may also help via phone and email; Efficiently and accurately process single ticket transactions and ticket donations; Work on projects as assigned by the Ticket Services Manager or manager/supervisor on duty; May be tasked with Front of House duties for showtime operation. Expectations: As part of the duties above, the Ticket Services staff is expected to: Adhere to the theater’s policies and procedures; Work in a safe manner; Maintain a positive and respectful attitude; Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality; Communicate regularly with the supervisor about department and patron issues; Communicate accurate information effectively to A.R.T. patrons and visitors; Demonstrate efficient time management and prioritize workload; Participate in theater events as needed or required; Participate actively in self-care outside of work. This is a front-facing position interacting with the public on a daily basis in person and sometimes via phone and email. Schedule expectations: The box office is open Tuesday through Sunday. This position is part-time, but hours may vary from week to week. The time expectation is 10-14 hours per week; possible opportunity for more hours if desired and based on current team availability. Hours are scheduled at least 2 weeks to 1 month in advance and are based on the availability of current and new employees. Availability on weeknights and weekends during the run of Gatsby starting May 23, 2024 is required. Shift Times: Shift times vary, but priority will call shifts are: 4:45PM-7:45PM (Tuesday through Sunday) 11:30AM-2:30PM (Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday) Possible 11:45AM-5PM&11:45-7:45PM shifts based on team availability. Shifts are subject to change based on season and box office needs. This temporary position runs from Mid May through Early August 2024 with the possibility to extend. Additional Information: Ticket Services employees receive complimentary and discount tickets to all A.R.T. Season productions. Ticket Services staff may be required to mask and rapid test in accordance with production protocols TBD. Supplies provided. Qualifications: Customer service experience required. Ticket Office experience is strongly preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail. Comfort with operating mobile devices is preferred. Tessitura experience is a plus but not necessary. Must have availability on evenings, weekends throughout mid May through early August 2024.
