Job Description
The Senior Architectural Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and implementing retail design projects from inception to completion. This role involves creating innovative designs that align with global brand standards, overseeing architectural planning, and ensuring the consistent execution of store environments. A significant aspect of the position is managing multiple projects concurrently, collaborating with internal teams, construction partners, and external vendors, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and brand excellence. The role also requires 50% travel to retail locations for on-site evaluations and project management. Required Skills: Accredited degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural or interior design, particularly in retail or commercial environments. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and Photoshop. Exceptional hand-sketching and design detailing skills, with experience creating detailed presentation packages. Solid understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building codes. Experience with resource management platforms such as Monday.com or Airtable. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. Strong communication and collaboration skills for liaising with stakeholders, architects, and vendors. Preferred Skills: Experience designing for retail spaces, including flagship stores, boutiques, or shop-in-shops. Familiarity with construction administration, including reviewing submittals, samples, and shop drawings. Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into functional, visually compelling designs. Proficiency in 3D design and visualization, with a talent for conceptualizing spatial designs.
