Minimum Qualifications: 3 years of technical product management with internet business experience Experience in taking a product from conception&definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market Experience working with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs Experience with modern software development, web development frameworks, APIs Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market) Experience in defining customer research, defining technical solutions that can solve customer challenges at-scale, product pricing / monetization strategy, go-to-market (GTM) strategy. About the Role: We are seeking an entrepreneurial and innovative technical Senior Product Manager to conceptualize, drive, and deliver the strategy and product roadmap for Amazon Cognito. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with engineering, marketing, sales, finance, and other partner teams to define and execute a high impact roadmap of features that simplify how customers use Amazon Cognito. You will work backwards from the customer to understand their challenges and needs and define the experiences that make it easy for customers to enable seamless end user sign-up and sign-in experiences, providing an always-on internet scale authentication and authorization for end users. You will also define capabilities that provide a fully featured customer identity experience with strong, adaptive protection mechanisms and access to cutting-edge techniques that help prevent, detect, mitigate and respond to today's evolving threat landscape. You will be responsible for product exploration and design, and work with a dedicated team of talented engineers to build and launch these products. Candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates dive deep into data, have strong writing skills, and can confidently lead teams to alignment in ambiguous problem spaces. Key Job Responsibilities: Engage with customers to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure the product meets their needs. Conceptualize a clear product vision and strategy for Amazon Cognito that aligns with the overall business goals. Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer needs, customer identity and access management product space trends, and business impact. Work closely with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality features on time. Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust the product strategy accordingly. Define and track key metrics to measure the success of the product and inform future decisions. About the Team: Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies MBA 5 years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
