Job Description Job Description Part-time Property Manager needed to operate and maintain self-storage facilities. Openings in Garland, Dallas, DeSoto, Red Oak, and Midlothian. Full-Time hours may be available for well-qualified candidates. Responsibilities: Maintenance and upkeep of facility, including cleaning of grounds and buildings, repairs, and daily inspection. Leasing storage units to new customers. Processing payments for existing customers. Reserving, renting, and cleaning U-Haul equipment. Contacting delinquent customers. Preparing end-of-day deposits. Part-time managers can expect to work at least 24 hours each week; Qualifications: Previous experience in property management, facility maintenance, retail, and/or customer service highly recommended. Moderate computer literacy required. Must be able to learn unfamiliar programs quickly and accurately. Must possess familiarity with Microsoft Windows and the Office suite of programs, scanning and copying documents, and web browser use. Applicants must pass basic computer literacy test during interview. Ability to meet physical demands of position, including: sitting for long periods of time, walking moderate distances, climbing into and out of rental trucks, bending and reaching to clean floors and walls, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs short distances, working outside during hot weather. A valid driver license and reliable transportation around the DFW area.
