Grasmere Farm is an award-winning butchers, with several traditional butcher’s shops, a couple of deli stores and a concession in a farm shop, all in south Lincolnshire. We also make products which are sold by other retailers, restaurants, and alike, as well as supplying Morrisons and Co-op, which are all supplied out of our head office and butchery on our farm. We are famous for our award-winning sausages, bacon, and meat pies and in our butcher’s shops we pride ourselves on providing our customers the best meat with the best customer service, which is at the heart of our retail. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Stamford High Street Traditional Butchers for an experienced retail butcher to help with the day-to-day running of the shop. The successful applicant will have drive and passion for their work, the product, and people. We are looking for someone to continue to push to the highest of standards and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as this shop continues to strive forward. We are looking for someone to drive new and innovative products as well as keeping hygiene and customer care at the highest level. Full training into and understanding of our products and our business will be given. 47.5 hour week. Salary: £28,000 or dependent on experience. Working week: shop is open Monday to Saturday. Sunday is a day off plus one day in the week. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Preparing great displays and keeping up to date on stock rotation. Helping with cooked side, including some cooking. Daily opening and closing down procedures. Ensuring all HACCP and hygiene needs and requirements are kept on top of. What you’ll have: At least three years of butchery experience (beef, lamb, pork, and poultry). Basic computer literacy (be competent in Excel and Word, etc.). J-18808-Ljbffr
