Job Description Job Description Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp to perm Property Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities Oversee a residential portfolio of co-ops and condos, serving as the primary point of contact Ensure compliance with all NYC housing laws and building regulations and resolve any violations Manage all building staff and represent the building at 32BJ labor hearings and arbitrations Monitor capital improvement projects, major repairs, and building-wide initiatives to ensure quality Work with purchasing to acquire goods and services, monitor contract terms and costs, and approve invoices Attend and present at monthly board meetings to report on operations, financials, and ongoing projects Calculate and oversee operating budgets, and present financial recommendations to the board Uphold exceptional customer service to ensure positive relationships with both clients and residents Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the portfolio Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. 4 years of NYC residential co-ops and condos experience Understanding of budgeting, building systems, maintenance, etc. Familiar with NYC housing laws, building codes, and union contracts Excellent organizational and project management skills Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint JobID: 17126 Company Description Abacus Group is an award-winning executive search firm specializing in the permanent, temporary, and temp-to-hire placement of Accounting&Finance, Administrative Support, Compliance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Information Technology professionals across all industries.
