General Position Summary This position is responsible for warehouse management and assembly schedule control. Maintaining professional interaction with sales reps and solving problems smoothly. This position is also responsible for assisting in communication between Japanese workers from the parent company and local workers. Job Functions Production Management: Create, maintain, and manage production plans based on internal purchase orders. Issue inventory order instructions based on sales forecasts and grasp the amount of inventory. Understand product principles, structures, and assembly methods. Supervise assembly personnel and provide quality control to ensure there are no work errors. Understand how to use tools and power tools. Have knowledge of safety and health management and can manage safety in warehouse operations. Assistant Engineer: Knowledge of industrial technology (Elementary knowledge about fluid machinery). Understanding measurement methods (unit conversion). Basic knowledge of JIS/ISO/ANSI. Basic knowledge of materials (Steel, non-Steel, Plastics). Basic knowledge of electricity (AC power supply, electric motor). Understanding of production drawings. Understanding of product principles and usage. Resolving inquiries from customers (sales) by checking with personnel in Japan and asking internal experts. Proposing improvements to products. English translation of Japanese technical documents. Japanese translation of English local reports and documents. Qualification Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or 3 years of work experience. Working experience in a US company.
