Oil States Montgomery Machine is currently looking for qualified candidates for a Production Control Administrator. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Gather all customer documentation for new projects including drawings, specifications, BOMs etc. through communication with internal and external customers. Enter purchase order and quotation information into ERP system to create new sales orders. Submit specifications and all technical information for customer approval utilizing online portal software. Review accuracy on quoted operational sequences for costs/cycle times and correct errors prior to release into production. Review customer requirements to ensure correct welding, NDE&any required external processes are instructed on router operations. Monitor schedules to create and print finalized job packets including all related documents ahead of start dates. Monitor emails, online portals and meetings for potential revision updates and modify live documents. Enter purchase order receivers into ERP system and issue to associated work orders as required. Communicate with weld department to manage PWHT and consumable documentation. Assist quality assurance to manage document packages during complete project lifetime and archive as instructed. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicate and assist external inspectors during production if required. Follow up with suppliers on customer technical queries on occasions. Assist in ISO related audits. Maintain good attendance and notify supervisor on absences. Attend and participate in group meetings related to business topics. Complete online and onsite training assignments as required within specified time period. Perform other duties assigned by management. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in document control position in a machining environment advantageous. Ability to evaluate drawings, specifications and instructions to gather important information. Experience working with an ERP system preferably Infor Visual Manufacturing. Competent all round computer skills with knowledge of MS Office software. Good visual, verbal and written skills to communicate effectively. Adequate math skills to calculate time, costs and quantities. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Ambitious and motivated to get the job done. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged sitting at a computer workstation. Frequent standing, walking, bending and stooping. Occasional periods of high noise levels in shop floor. Occasional exposure to fluids, dust, fumes and mist. Occasionally required to pick up objects weighing twenty pounds or less.
