Job Description Job Description We have an immediate opening for a Portfolio Manager (HOA). A successful candidate will have several years of previous residential condominium management experience in the HOA management industry. Preference given to CACM or CAI members, or candidates. Knowledge of California Civil Code, facilities management and disclosure requirements is preferred. The ideal candidate must be reliable, mature, responsible, well-mannered and professional. This person must also be detail-oriented, organized, able to take direction well and possesses good written and oral communication skills. The Portfolio Manager candidate must be able to interact and negotiate with vendors and other outside parties in a pleasant and efficient manner, prioritize, have an outgoing and positive attitude, and possess solid judgment. This would be the a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in association management GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the overall supervision and management of all assigned Associations, under the direction of their Board of Directors. Pursuant to California Civil Code §1365, must keep the Board of Directors apprised of the financial conditional and needs of the Association. Prepare and submit to the Boards a pro forma budget and capital outlay program; upon its adoption, administer and implement the budget. Submit and make available to the Directors a complete report of each Association's finances at the end of each fiscal year in accordance with the California Common Interest Subdivision Act. Appoint employees of the Association upon consideration of merit and fitness solely, and when he or she deems necessary, will remove or suspend employees for the good of the Association in accordance with personnel rules and regulations adopted by the Board of Directors. Fix the compensation structure for all Association's personnel within the limits established by budget appropriations. Attend all Board meetings and committee meetings as necessary. Observe discretion over the use of all Associations property and through the Chief Engineer, will be responsible for its repair and maintenance. Responsible for purchasing supplies, materials and equipment for the operations of the Associations, negotiate and execute contracts on behalf of each Association, and maintain a complete accounting of purchases and contracts. Enforce CC&Rs, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and acts of the Board Directors. QUALIFICATIONS: • 5 years of HOA management experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Jenark • Resident on San Francisco highly preferred • Excellent customer service • Responsible, innovative, attention to detail, quick-learner, easily trained and self-motivated EDUCATOIN: - Bachelor's Degree preferred - Preference given to CACM or CAI members, or candidates. - Knowledge of California Civil Code, facilities management and disclosure requirements is preferred COMPENSATION: The range for this position is $80k-138k. The salary we are offering for this position is between $80k - $130k DOE ( (Depending on experience) and portfolio size outstanding benefit package including medical, dental, life, LTD, 401K and generous PTO policy.
