Position: Outside Sales Company: Japanese Manufacturing company Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm Salary: $50K (Exempt) Responsibilities: Prospecting for existing customers utilizing a wide variety of methods and approaches. Prepare and deliver sales proposals and follow up with distributors and key decision makers. Manage entire sales process from initial inquiry, quote, samples, negotiations, and payments to vendors and from customers. Regularly communicate with management team to review sales activities and status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals, and status on deadlines. Active networking in industry organizations and circles. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. Recognize the process of making drawings and specifications which we should know when making drawings for customers. Keep management informed by submitting reports. Update CRM and forecast.
