The Pine Hill Mill is currently seeking Instrumentation Journeymen who are dependable with excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $37.41 for day workers. Position Title: Journeyman I - Instrumentation Pay Rate: $37.41 Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time Physical Location: 7600 Hwy 10 West, Pine Hill, AL 36769 The Job You Will Perform: This is a journeyman-level instrumentation technician responsible for completing scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance and break-in work along with performing many other duties both as part of a team and independently. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Troubleshooting equipment through DCS systems, single loop controls, data acquisition and camera systems. Installing, calibrating, and maintaining electronic and pneumatic field instruments for flow, level, temperature, vibration, hydraulic and analytical systems. Repairing and calibrating final control elements such as control valves, pneumatic and electronic positioners. Knowledge of various test equipment for calibration, preventive maintenance and the ability to read loop sheets, P&IDs and electrical schematics. Participating in a progressive comprehensive electrical training program to develop into an IE Technician. Required Experience: Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be 18 years or older. Eligible for employment in the US. A degree or certification in Instrumentation Studies; or at least 3 years of work experience in Instrumentation systems. Able to function in a team environment. Willing and capable of working shifts. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree in Industrial Technology or other related instrumentation/electronics field. Relevant work experience in an industrial environment. Strong math/physics understanding.
