Japanese manufacturing company is seeking an HR/Office Support Supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES Payroll: Review EZ Labor system for recording hours, transfer hours to PC Payroll bi-weekly for American payroll and once monthly payroll for Japanese Nationals; breakdown payrolls for monthly payroll entry, process garnishments and issue checks to appropriate parties; reconcile payroll checking account; enter data and changes (payroll rate, deductions, cumulative Allowed Taken Hours, etc.) in payroll software, enter proper deductions for benefits; year-end adjustments for Japanese payroll; distributing W-2’s at year end. Human Resources: Recruitment and hiring, dismissal of employees, implementation of personnel policies, absenteeism and tardiness control, labor turnover control, employee grievance control, employee records, new employee training schedules; coordinate annual Employee Evaluations; updates to Employee Manual; ongoing process of compiling procedures for job functions. Employee Benefits: Plan Administrator for Corporate 401(k) program includes enrollments, submitting bi-weekly deductions to 401(k) company, rollovers, submitting questionnaire for annual testing of our plan; Plan Administrator for employee Health Plan including enrollments, assisting with claim problems, terminations, COBRA Continuation paperwork, yearly renewal analysis; Plan Administrator for AFLAC supplemental insurance including enrollments, terminations; Plan Administrator for VSP Vision Insurance; Short Term Disability claims; planning of Company events. Administration: Switchboard, ordering of office supplies and toners, building and property repairs and maintenance, company vehicle repairs and maintenance; reconcile checking account for miscellaneous cash, cellular phone equipment and services; distribute mail, distribution of holiday cards to HOACO customers, maintain minutes book of Directors meeting. Other: Issuing and tracking Petty Cash transactions, reconcile all petty cash accounts to General Ledger, special assignments as requested by Treasurer. J-18808-Ljbffr
