Functional Family Therapist Location: Abingdon, VA Compensation: starting rate $60,000 This position is based off of a piece rate, it is not a salaried position Job Responsibilities: Conduct a comprehensive initial assessment to include all desired treatment outcomes, assessment of systemic strengths and needs, comprehensive safety plan, and analysis of contributing factors to referral behaviors Carry a caseload of 10-12 clients Engage the entire family unit in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement Implement problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, case outcome review, and strategy revision procedure Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the FFT model Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout FFT treatment Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with the FFT model Participate in all FFT training, supervision and consultation activities Experience(Preferred) Direct use of pragmatic (i.e. structural, strategic and functional) family therapies Individual therapy with children and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques Marital therapy using behaviorally-based approaches Behavioral therapy targeting behavior change Education(Required) Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field Licenses&Certifications(Preferred) Therapists are preferred to also hold a professional license or be working towards attaining a professional license (LPC, LISW, LMSW, LMFT, etc.) Legal Information: In order to begin the application process, please visit the following URL to complete a screening: https://forms.gle/JseccVyz1M4JnrxWA ncgCARE and its affiliated partners are committed to equal opportunity for all, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic. ncgCARE will make reasonable accommodations for known physical or mental limitations of otherwise qualified employees and applicants with disabilities unless the accommodation would impose an undue hardship on the operation of our business.
