Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for accurately and professionally handling front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling all appointments, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel. Prepares necessary patient paperwork before the patient’s appointment. Review EMA for information that needs to be updated. Works with patients to obtain updated information and accurately enters information in EMA. Identifies payer sources, verifies insurance eligibility, and verifies prior authorization. Recording and collecting patient copays and/or balances at check -in/out. Qualifications: Must have 1-2 years of experience working in a medical clinic. Dermatology experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills General understanding of HIPAA guidelines Exceptional multi-tasker Excellent phone skills Energetic, positive, and friendly Organized and meticulous Experience working with EMR systems. Education: High School Diploma required.
