A well-established Law Firm is looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team. The Financial Analyst will assist the CFO with all of the following functions: Responsibilities: Responsible for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting Review departmental budget proposals Provide quarterly budget versus actual analysis for department managers Analyzing monthly spending patterns Report monthly variance to the CFO Prepare monthly and annual financial reports Help CFO with pension contribution related tasks Assist the Controller with accounting related journal entry and reconciliations Ad hoc projects Requirements: Accounting/Finance experience Excellent Excel and reporting skills Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Excellent mathematical ability and an analytical mind Proficient in MS Office Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) Attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Compensation: $60,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
