Electrical Repair Class B Description: Maintenance: Industrial Electrician - (Georgetown Container) $2,000 Sign-on Bonus International Paper, a world leader of Industrial Packaging, is currently seeking applicants for the position of an Industrial Electrician at the Georgetown (Box) Container Plant . Ideal candidate would have a strong mechanical aptitude and possess 3 years of direct industrial electrical experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment. Position Title: Maintenance – Industrial Electrician Pay Rate: $30.32 - $38.68/hour Rate based on qualifications Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time Physical Location: Georgetown Box Plant, 1480 International Drive, Georgetown, SC Sign-on Bonus: $1000 after 30 days of continuous employment, $500 after 6 months of continuous employment, $500 after 1 year of continuous employment Duties include but are not limited to: Installing wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting and corrugating machinery Replacing faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners and photo electric devices Diagnosing and repair/replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards Troubleshooting drives, i.e. AC and DC Reading electrical block diagrams, schematics as well as PLC ladder logic Experience: 3 years of industrial electrical experience preferable in a manufacturing facility Basic computer skills Competencies include: Electrical aptitude Troubleshooting expertise Mechanical knowledge Overtime hours required: Applicant must successfully complete Electrical qualification tests, physical and drug screen, employment verification, and criminal background check.
