Job Type: Officer of Administration Regular/Temporary: Regular Hours Per Week: 35 Salary Range: $63,700-$65,000 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary As a member of the Alumni and Development team, the Alumni and Development Assistant provides administrative support and general support of department functions. The incumbent will assist with scheduling meetings, donor pledge and stewardship reports, drafting acknowledgments letters, and processing gift transmittals. In addition, the incumbent will coordinate and manage database entry and maintain alumni and donor lists including assurance of database accuracy; will assist with vendor and site inquiry for special events as well as organize and coordinate events; troubleshoot when necessary; perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Responsibilities Writing and coordinating the production of donor and pledge and stewardship reports and assist with writing assignments including acknowledgment letters. - 20% Processing gift transmittals; tracking financials for alumni relations and fundraising events. - 5% Scheduling appointments and meetings; with preparation of agenda as required, notification to participants, and appropriate follow-up. - 5% Assisting with prospect research and proposal development; coordinating and managing database entry; interacting with internal and external constituencies. - 15% Maintain donor lists including assurance of database accuracy; maintain files and database portfolio. - 20% Assist with organizing and coordinating meetings and special events. - 20% Prepares variety of lists and reports from Alumni/Development (CRM) database, including donor giving reports, regional alumni list, reunion class lists etc. - 10% Troubleshoot and perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. - 5% Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience. Preferred Qualifications Strong organizational skills. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have ability to exercise excellent judgment, tact, confidentiality, and diplomacy in all interactions. Accurately handle diverse projects and a large volume of work simultaneously and use good judgement in prioritizing work. Superior Excel, MS Office skills, Power Point and experience with fundraising CRM, preferably Salesforce required. Other Requirements This position occasionally requires work beyond regular hours, including evenings and weekends, as projects and events require.
