This person should be flexible and driven to achieve high standards for themselves and their team. Financial Management: Monitor and control food and beverage costs, ensuring adherence to budgets. Analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, and recommend improvements. Conduct regular inventory audits to track usage and minimize waste. Cost Control: Develop and implement cost control measures. Review and approve food and beverage pricing strategies. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and maintain quality. Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports for management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement. Provide insights on sales performance and profitability. Operational Support: Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist in menu planning and pricing based on food costs and market trends. Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain quality standards for food and beverage service. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods. Train and support staff in cost control procedures and inventory management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field. Proven experience in food and beverage cost control or financial management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills: Knowledge of food and beverage operations. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
