Department: Student Services Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: This position works under the supervision of the Director of Student Services and is responsible for: Fostering and maintaining cooperative working relationships with current and prospective employer partners and agencies. Presenting career and related subject matter information clearly and effectively to students. Providing guidance for students preparing for the employment application processes. Partnering with instructors to make successful job referrals and placements for graduates. Building and maintaining a placement tracking website. Participating in organization and planning for student recruitment and engagement events. Qualifications: Associate degree or higher, related experience preferred. Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license as travel between campuses and southwest Arkansas region is required. Knowledge, understanding, and utilization of modern office methods, procedures, and techniques. Capacity to plan, manage, and execute day-to-day procedures of Career Services Department. Must be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain student, employer, and placement records. Ability to build trust and establish strong relationships with employer partners. Ability to communicate with and present to diverse groups of individuals.
