Interest in Nocturnist in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine Burlington, Massachusetts The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Beth Israel Lahey Hospital&Medical Center, Burlington, MA is seeking a clinician educator or clinician with fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for a full-time position in the Division and a faculty position at Lahey UMass Chan Medical School. The candidate should be Board eligible or Board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the time of appointment. Our critical care team includes 35 faculty members and 21 advanced practitioners covering 4 medical ICUs 24/7. The candidate will be expected to work clinically approximately nights/month, providing direct care to patients in a 10-bed ICU at Winchester Hospital, located just outside Winchester Center. Winchester Hospital is a 200 bed community hospital, four times designated Magnet Status. If required, the candidate would also work at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, a highly regarded 335-bed, Tufts-affiliated teaching hospital. The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is comprised of 30 physicians, seven PCCM Fellows, including an Interventional Pulmonary Fellow, and 15 advanced practice providers, all committed to providing exceptional patient care across five hospitals and four outpatient practices. The candidate's role will include supervising medical house staff in a 12-bed medical ICU and 2 advanced practice providers in a second 12-bed ICU. Academic rank will be at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Faculty development opportunities are abundant for individuals wishing to pursue additional training as medical educators.
