Mission Prep aims to provide support and sustainable change for adolescents and families who are challenged by primary mental health struggles. At Mission Prep we are committed to preparing teens for the challenges of life and giving families the fresh start they need at our teen mental health treatment. To do this we utilize a blend of time-tested therapeutic approaches as well as innovative interventions. We create a sustainable experience that can be built upon long after the youth discharges from Mission Prep. Every element of the family’s care is conducted with attention and purpose from the sessions with our board-certified psychiatrist to the beautiful, home-like environment cultivated to bring a sense of belonging and connection for those in our care. Job Type: Part time. Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00/hour. Location: Our facilities in Fallbrook and Bonsall, CA. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday. Part time. Experiential Group Facilitator Job Duties: The Experiential Group Facilitator facilitates group therapy sessions utilizing evidenced based practices for our mental health and/or trauma specific program. Applicants MUST have experience working with acute clients that often have co-occurring mood disorders, substance use, and severe suicidal ideation. Facilitates groups within area of specialty (Clinical or non-clinical, such as CBT, DBT, Art Therapy, Trauma Informed Yoga, Music Therapy. Documentation must meet all requirements within policies and procedures. Adheres to any and all Joint Commission and WAC standards. Communicates directly with supervisory staff. Is an effective team member as part of the overall program and clinical operations, and is able to communicate needs within and between departments effectively. Utilizes treatment team and collaborative approach. Provide therapeutic interventions relevant to their field of expertise during group sessions effectively. Maintain Electronic Health Records to reflect the course of treatment and provide required documentation as required by company policy, including completion of documentation within the agencies 24 hour standard submission time requirement. Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, training, and other activities, which ensure effective and efficient functioning of clinical operations. Adhere to organizational standards and policies and procedures, code of ethics, legal aspects of clinical practice, professional standards, duty to warn, abuse and neglect reporting policies and procedures and exercise professionalism at all times. Education, Experience, License&Registration Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or field relevant to their profession from an accredited university. Acceptable Credentials (Desired) - Certificate or Licensure within area of Group Facilitators expertise (e.g. Trauma Informed Therapy, Certified Meditation Instructor). Hands-on experience in Groups working with clients with mental health and addiction issues. Successful completion of a federal DOJ LiveScan and be able to work in a CA-DSS CCL facility. Physical Requirements: Ability to work on a computer/keyboard, use electronic systems, communicate with others through written and verbal formats, ability to sit for long periods of time, listening, reading comprehension, lifting up to 10 lbs.
