ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Based at the Macassa Mine, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Wash Bay Attendant to join our Mine Maintenance team. The Wash Bay Attendant will be responsible for ensuring proper and safe maintenance protocols are adhered to and practices in washing mine equipment at the Macassa Mine. RESPONSIBILITIES Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring the safety of the team by applying a zero harm approach to all tasks performed. Washing mining equipment and components as required. Ensuring the wash bay is clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient work area. Performing routine and daily inspections on wash bay equipment such as pressure washer and soap dispensing equipment. Maintaining inventory of wash bay consumables such as degreasing soaps. Assisting in other maintenance practices and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS Our ideal candidate has: Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid Driver's License. Proven commitment to health, safety, and the environment. Mechanically inclined with the aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work rotational shift work; 7x7 Shift 10 hours. Physically fit with the ability/capability of lifting 50 pounds. Good communication, both verbal and written.
