Title: VP, Human Resources Location: Edison, NJ Hybrid: 1 day WFH/remote Travel: light occasional travel to out of state office Salary: $190 - $210k base plus bonus and additional LTI, car allowance and more Overview High profile VP of Human Resources opportunity in the Central New Jersey area Our client is a successful, stable and expanding company. In this exciting Corporate position, you will report to the CEO and lead organizational and talent acquisition efforts. 10 years of talent / HR experience required. Responsibilities Develop / spearhead talent acquisition / recruiting strategies and related organization structures / roadmaps to success Partner with executive team to establish succession planning in key areas of the organization Collaborate with executive team on evaluating and managing employee performance Partner with senior leadership to understand the business needs and identify / recruit / onboard talent while ensuring a career development focus to retain team members Assist managers with plans to develop employees and educate managers on leading teams effectively with a focus on employee retention Leverage understanding of the company and leadership to provide a plan for the organizational structure as the company expands Create a new hire onboarding program and documents to educate future employees on company culture and business structure and ensure fluid onboarding process Lead a “total rewards” initiative that encompasses compensation and benefits while aligning with long term company goals Measure the effectiveness of HR offerings through the use of KPI metrics. Lead a small team of professionals Lead employee relations for non-union and union team members Create, evaluate and execute necessary HR policies Enhance the human resource information system processes Remain current with employment laws/regulations and instill best practices throughout the HR process Oversee / manage employee benefits plans Provide advice and guidance on human resources issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field 8 years human resources experience. Proven experience working with a fast-growing company in a “hands on” environment Manufacturing, warehousing or construction experience a plus Experience with multi-office locations in the U.S. Highly proficient with employer laws and regulations. Excellent leadership, management and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel J-18808-Ljbffr
