By joining us as a VIE, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of Accounting, Controlling, Internal Control, Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Information Systems and Business Intelligence. You’ll work closely with the Site Controller and different stakeholders on prompt analysis and templates to improve benchmarking and automation. You’ll also be involved in the digital transformation project of our business over the next two years, working on new reports, dashboards and automatic workflow customization in new applications such as Power BI, and other collaborative tools. In addition, you’ll undertake metrics, assist the Site Controller with special projects and audit requests. You’ll be trained on plant controller routines based on internal financial information systems (QAD, DSS, PowerBI, etc). The main role As a VIE, you’ll take part in the routine Controller tasks such as closing, reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting internal controls taking the deadlines into account; Reporting&Analysis: Assist with site-specific financials, various variance analysis and Department spending analysis, run daily audit reports; Ensure the availability, quality and accuracy of the information; Take part in the consolidation and analysis of the Garden Grove facility budget and forecast; Support the implementation of digital reports, automations, dashboards and workflows (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate); Cost Maintenance: Work on order reporting and analysis, product costing, cost roll-up; Assist with internal procedures and policies; Run labor reporting and analysis; Review work orders, cost variances, absorption rates, machine run rates, average order quantities (AOQ’s), product/material costing, freight, sales pricing, inventory, waste (scrap); Fixed Asset Maintenance: Maintain a fixed asset roll forward schedule and work with the Project Manager to confirm the asset status; Ensure all fixed assets are placed into service in a timely manner; Lead fixed asset audits; Gap analysis: Support the site controller to review gap analysis with different managers and ensure the action plan’s follow-up; A plus for this role Through these missions, you’ll have the opportunity to help us modernize and optimize the site’s financial ecosystem, with a strong accent on digitalization and communication. This is an 18-month mission, non-extendable and can often lead to a full-time offer within the organization. This is an on-site role. Is this job for you?
