Responsibilities Ultrasound Technologist The Sonographer reports to the designated leader within the Imaging Department. Provide clinical services according to ultrasound practice standards and act as a resource to students, residents, fellows, and other technologists. Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures. Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient departmental operations. Demonstrate safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines. Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency Able to speak and write English fluently Diploma from a certified school of Radiology required Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Sonographer and acute care experience preferred Current RDMS license required Breast and Vascular registry preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Demonstrated excellent customer service skills Committed to our culture that Every Moment Matters Committed to the surrounding community J-18808-Ljbffr
