Training Specialist Position Overview: The Training Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of training materials and instructional courses to support various programs. This role will involve working on projects of significant scope and visibility. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project management to assess stakeholder training needs and determine appropriate training methods (e.g., coaching, self-paced, instructor-led). Develop, test, and present training materials in various formats, including case scenarios, simulations, and eLearning. Conduct needs analyses and evaluate training requirements, recommending effective solutions for successful program adoption. Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and program teams to ensure timely deliverables and identify risks. Create metrics to measure the success of training and communication efforts. Review and monitor the effectiveness of training programs and implement continuous improvement strategies. Collect and analyze feedback on training and performance support. Qualifications: Experience in instructional design and developing training curricula, documentation, and communication programs. Ability to define learning objectives and design training materials to meet those objectives. Skilled in planning and prioritizing tasks for large and complex projects. Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Captivate, Learning Management Systems, and video editing software. Experience leading and instructing both in-person and online classes, with a preference for training in areas such as data management tools. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in instructional design or a related area, especially in high-impact initiatives. Location: This is a remote position with expectations for monthly in-person meetings for local candidates.
