Swim instructors play a crucial role in teaching individuals how to swim safely and confidently while promoting water safety and enjoyment. If you adore swimming and assisting others to become self-assured in the pool, then this gig is for you Responsibilities Develop and teach water safety and swimming techniques to a variety of ages and abilities Establish a safe learning environment for all participants Design lesson plans that adhere to the provided scheme of work Diagnose any incorrect swimming techniques and suggest methods for improvement Assess the progress of each individual and provide constructive feedback Manage attendance, progress, and incident records; ensure swimming aids and equipment are maintained Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by actively monitoring the pool area and enforcing safety rules Communicate with students and their guardians or parents regarding progress, goals, and any concerns Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Current Lifeguard/CPR/AED certification Compensation $20 hourly About Innovative Health and Fitness Innovative Health and Fitness is a privately owned health club in Franklin, WI.
