Support Worker - Multiple Positions Available (Permanent and Casual) Aged&Disability Support (Community Services&Development) Aurora Support Services provide a range of supports to people with disability. About the roles The role of the Support Worker is to provide appropriate support, assistance, and guidance to people with disability to enable each individual to maximise their opportunity and realise their full potential in life. Support Workers are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating group programs that provide opportunities for participants to develop their independence and skills, access and engage in their community, and achieve their goals and aspirations, as identified in their respective NDIS and/or person-centred plan. Salary is as per the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Classification: Social and Community Services Employee, level 2, pay point based on years of experience. Available Positions: Position 1: Permanent position based at our High Street service in Epping. Hours of work are 8:45am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday. Position 2: Casual position based at our services in Epping, Lalor, Thomastown, and Reservoir. Shifts are booked on a casual relief basis, with hours of work between 8:45am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. About you We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and person-centred applicant who can work effectively within a team as well as independently when required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.
