Housekeeping Supervisor The Housekeeping Supervisor acts as a liaison between all shifts and departments in order to ensure a smooth operation and continuity of work. Essential Job Duties: Responsible for touring the hospital periodically covering each assigned area to observe cleaning crews at work and to ensure instructions are followed and safety rules are observed. Ensure that the Environmental Services Department maintains the physical facilities in a clean, safe, and orderly condition in support of quality patient care. Assist in planning daily assignment schedules, including established routines and special areas to be cleaned and maintained. Keep personnel records on employees such as hours worked, attendance, absences, vacation, and wage data for payroll. Assist the EVS Director in preparing budgets, work reports, and maintaining all statistical data and reporting systems as required by the director. Work with manager and staff to maintain an inventory of cleaning material supplies and equipment and prepare requisitions for replacement of depleted items and those in need of repair.
