Manage our national cardiovascular data registries and ensure the quality of data input and abstracted is accurate and complete. Ensure physician and staff compliance to data and quality metrics. Enter patients into databases for our various cardiovascular accreditations (heart failure center, chest pain center, Mission: Lifeline, cardiac electrophysiology, and Get-With-The-Guidelines-HF). (Degree in Healthcare related field preferred) or 10 years experience in lieu of degree RN or RCIS Required Minimum 5 years Hospital Experience: clinical experience or quality improvement a plus. Process improvement experience and Greenbelt preferred Experience in clinical documentation requirements for American college of cardiology, Society of thoracic Surgeons and other Heart and Vascular accrediting bodies as well as CMS and Joint commission requirements. Able to work with minimal supervision. Education: Essential: Bachelor Degree Credentials: Essential: Registered Nurse-NM Reg Cardiovascular Inv Spec BLS Certification required at time of hire.
