Staff Engineer for the Execution Systems (ES) COE Contract Medical Device/ Pharmaceutical Company. Responsibilities: Responsible for conceptual design, development of templates, libraries, manufacturing documentation and process models and documentation which facilitate standardization, faster implementation and lower cost of implementations. Responsible for socialization, influencing and adoption of standard manufacturing technology capabilities across manufacturing sites. Technologies include product life cycle management (including recipe management for discrete processes), equipment performance measuring technologies, statistical process control, visualization and analytics technologies. Perform collection and analysis of manufacturing plants’ business and technologies requirements (per plant basis). Liason with Standard team for alignment on standard recipe models for discrete processes. Responsible for project leadership on scope, prioritization and ensuring that resources, capabilities and processes are in place. Partnering with plants resources (internal and external) vendors to enable local teams develop business case, standardized architectures, and deployments. Support plants during implementation of technologies, compliance to best practices, templates and libraries for adoption of the technology. Work with vendors on development and simulation of target processes. Deliver documentation and demonstration of functional models. Qualifications: A BS degree in industrial automation, electrical or control systems engineering, information technology or relevant engineering discipline is required. A minimum of 10 years of process control system experience is required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. Strong decision making and problem solving skills required. Primary responsibility for design, development and deployment of recipe management standards in discrete process is highly preferred. Primary responsibility for design, development and deployment of ISA S88 standard is required. Primary responsibility for design, development and deployment of PLM systems, recipe management systems such as NeoPLM, Inbatch is required. Experience with performance measuring technology (i.e Tracksys) is preferred. Experience in GMP or GLP regulated environment is preferred. Primary responsibility for design, development and deployment of manufacturing equipment control systems experience required. Computer validation experience is required. PLC (programmable logic controller) experience required. Knowledge and application of advanced analytics tools in manufacturing is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required. J-18808-Ljbffr
