Hill International is seeking a Sr. Cost Engineer in Rosemead, California Responsibilities: Used to working with numerous large projects (cost) with frequent Change Orders. Develop and maintain project budgets/baselines, short- and long-term forecasts, and expenditure plans for assigned large, multi-year projects. Develop or prepare routine and ad-hoc reports to assist PMs and OU partners to monitor, manage, and forecast costs (e.g. budget, actual, commitment, contingency, earned value, cost per unit, cost impact analysis) for assigned large, multi-year project(s) in response to internal or external data requests. Create and maintain a risk register to evaluate contingency needed. Perform detailed research, updates, what-if scenarios, and data gathering/analysis in areas of cost controls. Collaborate with and obtain data/information from various project stakeholders. Effective communicator; able to speak with many different levels of management. Able to work independently. Minimum Requirements: Possesses 7 years’ experience in cost controls/project management. Bachelor's degree in related field. Construction background required. Generation, Transmission, or utility experience preferred. PMP or project management experience preferred. Adept with Microsoft 365 apps. SAP experience is preferred. Hybrid work schedule. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience, and work location.
