Job Description Our client is seeking a hands-on Associate / Senior Associate to work in the Pathology Lab in the Translational Safety&Bioanalytical Sciences Department in South San Francisco, CA. The Associate will lead histology workflows to support portfolio related questions on target expression and preclinical model development. Responsibilities: Leads and manages workflows for histology preparation of specimens, including all documentation in required lab information systems and databases, as well as team communications. Creates documentation for sample grossing and embedding with guidance by team members. Performs tasks related to fixation and processing of specimens, quality control on all stained slides. Requests digital scanning of slides and organizes images in database for review by team members. Maintains equipment and performs other related duties as assigned.
