Thank you for your interest Overview: Due to growth, Southern Physical Therapy Clinic is now hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for an Outpatient Pediatrics position in Wiggins, MS. We are looking for someone who is ready to grow and contribute to the growth of the clinic. SLPs with Part-time or PRN availability are also welcome. Caseload / Patient Population: The Speech-Language Pathologist will see a caseload primarily of pediatrics with some overflow to adults/geriatrics. This is a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting that incorporates Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Most full-time SLPs complete 45-55 visits per week. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday. No weekends, no holidays Within this role, you will enjoy an excellent work / life balance. The schedule can be flexible based on the needs of the candidate hired. The clinic hours are Monday - Thursday: 7 am - 6 pm, and Friday: 7 am - 12 pm. Compensation and Benefits: Speech-language pathologists are paid a competitive hourly rate based on experience. A brand-new grad can expect to receive an hourly rate in the ballpark of $32 per hour. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired. There is a bonus program available based on individual performance. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a retirement plan. Professional development is encouraged and includes reimbursement for CEUs. Job Requirements: 1. Eligible for Mississippi state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. 2. Open to all experience levels, including new grad SLPs. There is mentorship and training available. 3. Full-time availability is preferred. Part-time and/or PRN candidates with 16 hours and two weekdays of availability per week will also be considered. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate has an enthusiastic drive to provide the best patient experience possible. We prefer an Occupational Therapist who is comfortable building relationships with patients to promote positive outcomes and continuity of care.
