Specialized Personal Trainer: Personal trainer specializing in the specific/unique needs of female clients (for example, pre/post natal exercise; strength training for women). The position will include developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining individual exercise recommendations for club clients in a professional and quality manner to ensure exceptional member satisfaction and retention. This position will also include selling personal training sessions and/or programs. The Prime Directive is to gain and retain members. Position: Certified Personal Trainer Job Type: Full-time Location: FFC Oak Park Compensation: At FFC, trainers earn commission based on experience and certifications, ranging from $32 to $74 per session. During the first 60 days, new trainers earn commissions from paid sessions&New Member Sessions, plus a special bonus ($500-$1000 each month during their first 3 months) for meeting session goals. Trainers are guaranteed to earn at least minimum wage for all hours worked. New Trainer Schedule&Responsibilities (First 60 Days): In the first 60 days, new trainers will follow a set schedule. They must choose at least five 6-hour shifts per week, with options for morning, evening, and at least one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday). During these shifts, trainers will be responsible for tasks such as managing the InBody machine, overseeing the fitness floor, greeting members at the front desk, and performing outreach through email or calls. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or a related field Certification: Nationally accredited Personal Training certification Experience: 2 years in a health club setting with proven sales experience in personal training sessions Expertise: Must be or have been a Master and/or Elite level trainer Safety First: Current CPR and AED certification What You’ll Do: Conduct New Member Fitness Consultation/new join services for members who request a trainer focused on the needs of women Lead small group training sessions for women Assist members with specific concerns on the fitness floor including spotting during exercise sessions Promote all FFC programs through relationship building/matching with FFC offerings Provide and monitor quality exercise recommendations for individual clients, ensuring the attainment of their specific goals Attend all required department continuing education meetings and relevant member appreciation events Keep primary personal trainer certification and CPR/AED current Maintain all client files to include: fitness evaluation and a copy of the client exercise program Some weekend hours are required Join Us: If you’re ready to take your career to the next level with a company that’s as committed to your success as you are to your clients’, we’d love to hear from you.
