The Tallent Source has partnered with a leading business consulting company in the search for a change leader to oversee their “journey management” portfolio supporting client-facing delivery undergoing transformational change. This remote career opportunity is best suited to an expert in transformational change management who gets excited about helping business leaders successfully lead their organization on the change journey. This role is a blend of practice owner and delivery expert in change management. You’ll work closely with the change consultants and engagement executives to ensure alignment of the journey management practice and capabilities. You’ll also directly support client-facing work as a change lead where you’ll work both remotely and occasionally onsite (up to 16 hours/week) with the engagement executive and clients to help them manage and lead their organizational transformation. Responsibilities The Journey Management Leader will be responsible for the following functions: Develop the Journey Management product and practice Provide proposal tools and pricing guidance to ensure the broader team can effectively sell Journey Management and successfully deliver Journey Management to clients Provide content for marketing activities and campaigns Management and continuous improvement of the Journey Management practice by incorporating new components and approaches Support the identification, selection, and implementation of JM-related technologies/solutions Leadership of Journey Management discipline Identification and selection JM team members Development of JM team members (including coaching, training, performance feedback) Development of JM staffing models and related assumptions to assist the firm in determining when to add more JM resources Participate in delivering client-facing consulting projects under supervision including: Assist in the delivery of services to clients with a special focus on Journey Management Identify opportunities for additional work at client and bring opportunities to the attention of appropriate Engagement Executives Support Engagement Executives with client-related relationships and sales activities for Journey Management engagements Attend company subject-matter-related conferences/trainings Extend one’s own skill set into specialty areas of the firm’s value offering (e.g., matrix, culture, strategy, alignment, etc.) Qualifications The following skills are required for success in the Journey Management Leader position: High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity are required for this position. Impeccable attention to detail is critical. Ability to connect directly with HR and other management-level employees in a professional and sincere manner will be required. Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to client's site(s). No less than ten years' change management experience is required; certification of a methodology (i.e., Prosci) is ideal. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary in order to clearly and quickly articulate the status, along with critical path tasks. Preferred certifications include: Agile or SafeAgile 5.0, PMP, PROSCI, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, and SHRM. Ready to take your OCM experience to the next level?
