Job Description The Homestead Shooting Club Instructor role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations. The Shooting Club instructor works to proactively embrace The Omni Homestead service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs. Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities and Functions : Consistently demonstrate and own any and all tasks needed to carry out The Omni Service Tradition, ensuring that all of the Omni MOS standards are utilized in all interactions. Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency. Know and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrating this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation, and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners. Able to work in a demanding office setting, answering phones, and communicating with Manager and fellow Associates. Handle all guest requests with a smile and ensure they are completed in a timely manner. Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Follow opening procedures for gun vault, restrooms, and facility; turn on lights and computer; locate and empty all trashcans; check messages; determine task assignment after checking guest schedule. Ensure that all traps are loaded, batteries charged, and shells are picked up. Instructors must possess sufficient shooting knowledge to enable them to be consistent with industry standards. Maintain adequate under counter ammunition inventory to cover the day's scheduled shooting. And any other task assigned by the manager. Secondary Responsibilities and Functions : Assist the cashier as needed. Clean and maintain a hygienic and organized work area. Maintenance/Cleanliness of guest and employee areas. Clean, maintain, and organize all shooting equipment, vests, etc. Tools and Equipment: Various firearms, golf carts, traps, trap tools, batteries, and chargers. Working Environment: Shooting club grounds. Qualifications Ability to provide quality customer service. Ability to sit, stand, and bend for the majority of the shift. Previous training and a minimum of 2 years work experience in firearms. Shooting instructor certification or ability to get that upon hire. Lift, push, pull at least 30 lbs. NSCA License Level 1 Instructional Certification Preferred. J-18808-Ljbffr
