About NJTA The New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) is a state agency responsible for maintaining the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway - two of the busiest toll roads in the United States. The NJTA is dedicated to the safe and efficient movement of people and goods along their toll roads. Everyday, the Authority’s highways provide the safest, quickest, and most convenient routes for hundreds of commuters, truckers, and recreational travelers. POSITION OBJECTIVE Works under the general direction of the Manager, Windows Administration to ensure the functionality, stability, security, and expandability of the Authority’s Windows client-server environment which commensurate with the Authority’s goals and requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage Windows client-server environment via Microsoft tool sets such as Active Directory tools, DNS, Group Policy Management, and PowerShell modules. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and higher. Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and higher. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V solutions. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Terminal Services. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010 and higher. Extensive knowledge of CommVault v10 and higher. Extensive knowledge of Barracuda Spam and Web Filtering v7 or higher. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft System Center. Create software images, ensuring latest applicable versions, patches, and product sets. Resolve problems referred by user community. Perform software and hardware upgrades on PCs and Servers. Maintain accurate documentation. Interface with other sections of the Integrated Technology Services Department to ensure proper operation of entire Authority computing infrastructure. Independent problem solver and ability to accomplish projects and t asks with little guidance. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and complimentary products. Working knowledge of LANs, WANs, networking principles and protocols. Working knowledge of system security and policy enforcement. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience. MCSA certification preferred. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience. J-18808-Ljbffr
