Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Plano, TX office for the first 90 days. After that, there is 1 to 2 days WFH per week. Job Description Lead and manage various tax projects for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Perform tax compliance for individual and business clients, including preparation, planning, and projections Review and provide insight on complex tax returns, applying deep tax knowledge to support optimal outcomes Conduct tax research and respond to tax inquiries, managing resolutions and correspondence Supervise accounting processes, financial reporting, and related client services Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and a high-performing culture Collaborate with partners on strategies for client growth and operational improvements Qualifications CPA certification required Minimum of 3 years in public accounting with a strict focus on tax returns for at least 3 consecutive tax seasons Proficient understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving Experience with tax compliance, risk assessment, and internal controls Skilled in accounting software and financial systems Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Why This is a Great Opportunity Join a collaborative and supportive firm with a strong commitment to professional growth Take on a leadership role with a chance to shape a skilled team and drive meaningful client relationships Engage in challenging tax projects that provide diverse and rewarding experiences Benefit from a flexible work arrangement after the initial on-site period JPC-129 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: recent tax return: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: CPA license (Required) Work Location: In person
