Job Description Job Description Please note; this role is based in Palo Alto Commercial Sr. Property Manager (Permanent full-time position) Job Description – The Senior Property Manager manages the building operations working independently and as part of an extended team to ensure the fiscal and operational success of the building. With excellent analytical skills, the primary responsibilities of the Senior Property Manager will be the financial management and reporting for the property, working closely with the accounting team and building ownership. With excellent customer service skills, the Senior Property Manager will collaborate with tenants and building team members to support the property retention goals. Strong communication skills and accountability are key attributes of the successful Senior Property Manager. Additional responsibilities for the Senior Property Manager include the following: Responsibilities: · Manage landlord, tenant, and vendor relationships through excellent written and oral communications · Ensure compliance with all codes, regulations, and governmental agency · Developing both operating and capital budgets · Manage and coordinate all operational related services and capital improvements to ensure timely and proper completion of all work within budget · Manage administrative functions and the preparation of reporting and year-end expense reconciliations · Responsible for all lease administration, collections, and default proceedings and maintaining all property leases in lease administration software · Liaison with owners and accounting team to ensure management agreement compliance · Develop comprehensive annual inspection processes for properties; completing weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual inspections as required to meet best practices · Assist leasing team in negotiating and managing lease renewals Requirements · 5 years of previous commercial real estate experience with increasing responsibilities · California Real Estate License and ideally RPA or CPM designations · Excellent and effective verbal and written communication · Strong time management, analytical and organizational skills · Strong knowledge of finance and building operations · Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Yardi, Building Engines, and other commercial real estate software programs · Professional and exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills · Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to produce communications and other materials that are effective and of a professional nature Compensation: Compensation will vary based on experience.
