Senior DevOps Engineer Job Description Overview: CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. We are currently seeking an accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, while supporting our multiple software products and brands across the organization, such as LoopNet, Apartments.com, Homes.com, and Ten-X. This position is located in Washington DC and is 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. What qualities we are looking for? What essential qualifications and skills we are looking for? Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university or college. 5 years’ experience managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture. Configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible). Infrastructure as code using Cloudformation, Terraform or similar platforms. Some experience in AWS, Azure, or Google cloud. Experience with enterprise monitoring tools. Heavy scripting support (PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, Groovy). Experience with SQL or No SQL databases. Experience with configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN). What is good to have but not required? Programming languages / some developer background with either Java, C#, Python, NodeJS. Familiarity with PCI compliance and remediation. Experience in REST API or Microservices development. Agile methodologies and working on short sprint cycles.
