The Senior Counsel at the client will report directly to the General Counsel and provide legal advice on commercial banking transactions, vendor contracts, litigation matters, legal and regulatory requirements, and corporate governance issues. Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex legal documents related to commercial banking, credit, and vendors. The Senior Counsel will work closely with business lines to identify and mitigate business, legal, and regulatory risks, as well as assign, monitor, and provide guidance to outside counsel handling commercial transactions and litigation.
