Senior Consultant - Financial Reporting (Hybrid) Hybrid/Remote - 50% work from home $35hr to $55hr DOE ($140K potential if converted to permanent) Location: Middlesex County The Senior Consultant - Financial Reporting will assist with internal and external financial reporting. Reporting to the Director of External Reporting. Responsibilities: Assist with the month end close including reconciliations of certain accounts and preparation of the monthly Board of Directors reporting package Assist in the preparation of external reporting including SEC filings, 10K, 10Q and 8K. Assist in the preparation of footnote disclosures and annual regulatory filings Organize supporting work papers in binders and electronic files Point of contact for audit information requests as needed, working with external audit team and tracking resolution of issues SOX testing as required Prepare investor relations presentations Ad hoc reporting, analysis and special projects as needed Qualifications: BS in Accounting CPA required SEC Reporting and Workiva experience are required Excellent communication skills, strong written communications skills required for drafting accurate reports and documentation Strong technology skills including the use of Excel At WatsonBarron, we share a philosophy when it comes to recruiting - focus on people.
