School Psychologist - Independence, OH (2024-25 School Year) ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Independence, OH. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing psychological assessments, counseling, and support services. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments to identify students needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies. Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address emotional, social, and academic issues. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans. Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to review students progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote a positive school climate. Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student services and progress. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid School Psychologist certification/license in the state Previous experience in a school setting is preferred. Strong understanding of child and adolescent development. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students, parents, and staff.
