School Psychologist Job Posting Location: Overland Park, KS Position Type: Part-Time School Year: 2024-2025 Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Kansas, for the 2024-2025 school year. This role will focus on providing comprehensive psychological services to students in grades K-12, including assessments, counseling, and collaboration with school staff and families to promote a positive and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized support plans. Provide counseling services to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns. Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Offer crisis intervention and support as needed. Provide professional development and consultation to staff regarding mental health and student behavior. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Qualifications Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology. Valid Kansas School Psychologist Licensure. Experience with psychoeducational assessments, IEP development, and mental health counseling. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school teams. Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
