As a School-Based Therapist on LifeWorks School-Based Therapy team (a subsidiary of Nystrom&Associates), you will have the opportunity to implement high-quality, culturally-sensitive mental health services to children and adolescents in the school setting. We are all about helping In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to: Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to children, adolescents and their families in a school setting Assist children, adolescents and their families in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals Design and implement treatment/intervention reflective of the child’s needs Work collaboratively with the school district, school personnel divisions, and other community-based agencies Provide psychoeducation to school staff Design and implement therapeutic groups for students Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units Master’s degree or licensed at an independent level. (t-LMHC, LMSW, LISW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) Desire to work with children and families in a school based setting. Ability to work independently.
