General Position Summary: The Chemical Sales and Marketing Representative is responsible for successfully reaching sales budget and marketing the Company's chemical products in America’s region. This includes contributing to the launching of new products and products still in their developmental stages, engaging in R&D to identify and contribute to the development of promising products for the future. Candidates are expected to have a proven track record in sales and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. This role requires an understanding of various chemical products and the ability to engage with new and existing customers effectively. 2. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Proven sales experience in the chemical industry or related field. Experience with marketing and promotional activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Creativity and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office. Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. High level of curiosity and willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the chemical industry. Strong knowledge of chemical products, including but not limited to coatings, lubricants, and personal care products. 3. Essential Job Functions: Primary Job Functions (90%): Contributes to Sales and Profits of Company's Chemical Products by maintaining and expanding ties with established customers, establishing professional networks in the target market, developing relationships to acquire new accounts, and working closely with Senior Management to determine strategic sales objectives. Markets and Promotes Company's Chemical Products by maintaining thorough knowledge of the products, developing effective marketing strategies, attending trade shows, and establishing strategic relationships. Contributes to Market Research and Product Development by analyzing market trends, driving new R&D projects, and working with outside consultants. Keeps the Senior Management Informed by submitting monthly activity reports, call reports, and other marketing-related reports as requested. J-18808-Ljbffr
