Job Description Job Description Position Title: Residential Program Supervisor II Hours: Full-Time / Exempt (Minimum 40 hours per week with some evening and weekend hours required) Reports to: Director of Client Services Annual Salary Range: $67,000 - $80,000 Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Client Services, Residential Program Supervisor (RPS) provides staff supervision, training, support, oversees data and documentation, and supervises overall shelter activities. · Following established procedures, supervised day-to-day onsite and hotel-based shelter and crisis hotline operations. · Supervise the duties and activities of up to five (5) Case Managers and staff who provide direct client services, ensuring 24-hour coverage of the crisis hotline and shelter facilities. o Onboard new shelter staff including ensuring they have necessary tools, software, credentials, and provide orientation, training on internal policies, procedures, best practices, and internal databases. o Facilitate staff evaluations and learn to utilize platforms and tools to document and measure staff performance. o Meet with direct staff to coach and discuss any issues pertaining to their roles and projects and address disciplinary issues as they arise. · Oversee the maintenance of client files, and ensure complete and accurate documentation of client information, services, and activities; oversee and ensure that appropriate documentation procedures are followed by staff. · Manage a client case load. · Participate and or facilitate weekly staff and case conference meetings to discuss client cases, program updates and issues, implement new program directives as required, and ensure staff effectively serve clients and complete their duties. · Work closely with Operations and Facilities departments to ensure the effective operation of the facilities including participating in client unit inspections, maintenance, and safety issues · Participate in client de-escalation meetings and address client grievances, as required. · Uphold policies and procedures that contribute to the safety and confidentiality of Haven Hills facilities. · Assemble welcome packets and assist with coordinating client move-ins and exits, as necessary. · Learn and understand service delivery under LA County DPSS Domestic Violence Supportive Services – CalWorks Programs; and Housing First funding resources and principles. · Learn internal databases and train new staff as necessary. · Participate in client panel interviews/reviews for shelter entry or extension. · Assist with monthly/quarterly funder reporting, and other reports as necessary. · Participate in On-Call rotation. · Participate in internal meetings and special projects as requested. · Be prepared to assist with emergency/disaster issues as they occur. · Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Bilingual in Spanish preferred. · Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field, or two or more years of experience in similar role. · Experience supervising staff. · Excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to multi-task in crisis environment. · Case management and conflict resolution experience required. · Experience in the field of domestic violence or an understanding of the dynamics of an abusive relationship and its impact on the individual and society. · State mandated 40-hour domestic violence advocate training certificate required, or completion within three months of hire. · Ability to speak and write effectively. · Ability to work with diverse populations. · Must be comfortable working in non-traditional or shelter setting; must be flexible, open-minded, adaptable, and able to work independently. · Must be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel · Ability to learn and enter information accurately into various databases. · Must undergo fingerprinting /background check, TB testing, and drug testing, as required. · Haven Hills, Inc. requires its employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to certain exceptions as required by law. Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. · At times may be required to lift up to 10 pounds. · May be required to use stairs to access second floor of facility. · Required to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. · Driving may be required.
