In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the day to day operations of the physical properties in the most cost-effective manner possible, as well as maintaining tenant relations. This position works out of the corporate office in Morristown, NJ. Responsibilities: Recruits and trains staff. Interacts and communicates with Leasing Agents for careful review of rental applications and to ensure possession is delivered to new tenants successfully and on time. Communicates verbally and written with tenants regarding specific matters pertaining to their apartments, such as repairs, noise complaints, etc. Has excellent working knowledge of residential Lease Agreements. Interacts with attorney to institute legal proceedings should a tenant fail to meet the terms of their Lease Agreements and maintains contact with and accompanies the attorney at legal proceedings. Oversees performance of Superintendents and follows up on all repair requests (work orders) and ensures that all work is completed satisfactorily utilizing the Mobile Facilities Module. Performs physical inspections of properties, reports findings to the Senior Property Manager and ensures all necessary repair are completed. Obtains bids, oversees projects. Qualifications: Must have prior residential background with familiarity on writing contracts and memos. Must have valid driver’s license. Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision. Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills are required. Bi-lingual desirable, but not required.
