The Research Associate participates in ongoing laboratory research projects, performing and assisting in experiments on the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE–photoreceptor interactions. Essential Functions Participates in ongoing laboratory research projects, performing and assisting in experiments on the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE–photoreceptor interactions. Oversees animal experimentation. Works under direct supervision of principal investigator. Assists in tutoring undergraduate students performing laboratory work. Required Qualifications: Education and Experience BS in biology or related field required Up to 3 years of experience Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills Prior experience in retinal biology research and small rodent handling and husbandry. Preferred Qualifications MS or PhD Salary Information Minimum Starting Salary: $46,000 Maximum Starting Salary: $60,000 Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
